Stainless steel self-cleaning filter is a self-cleaning filter used in steel, chemical, biotechnology, etc. that require corrosion-resistant water treatment systems, and the equipment shell and filter elements are made of stainless steel, and the filtration precision is 50-3000μm optional. It is mainly used to filter larger particles of impurities above 50μm, which plays a pivotal role in improving the quality of circulating water and protecting the water system. The filter can be installed vertically or horizontally. Working Principle:

Filtration state: The water containing impurities passes through the inner filter screen of the filter, the impurities are intercepted and dropped into the filter screen, and the filtered water is normally discharged through the filter screen.

Backwash state: When the self-cleaning filter is backwashed, the motor drives the steel brush to rotate to clean up the impurities adhering to the filter. At this time, the sewage outlet is automatically opened, part of the filtered water is discharged normally through the filter screen, and part of the water is taken out of the system through the sewage outlet. After backwashing, the sewage outlet is automatically closed, and the filtered water is normally discharged from the water outlet. The design of the system can realize non-stop water during backwashing and ensure the normal operation of the whole system.

Backwashing state control: time (set backwashing cycle), pressure difference control (inlet and outlet pressure difference reaches the set value), manual control (backwashing by local manual control, and remote control can also be used for backwashing). These three control methods can exist at the same time, and whichever control method reaches the set value first can start the backwashing state. Example: A steel plant circulating water system is equipped with a vertical self-cleaning filter. Based on previous experience, the customer set the time control to backwash once every 8 hours, but due to the recent decline in water quality, he was worried that the cycle time of cleaning once every 8 hours was too long, and the filter screen was blocked by too much impurity content, resulting in a high pressure difference and affecting the filtration. The filter and subsequent equipment have a bad effect, so they set the pressure difference on the filter to 0.1Mpa. After the filter has been running for a period of time, the pressure difference alarm, but the 8-hour cleaning cycle has not been reached at this time, the system also automatically turns on the backwashing state according to the pressure difference control, the impurities are successfully removed, and the system returns to normal; customers can also choose manual control , manually start the backwash according to the demand.
