1. What is the sand filter?

Sand filter is also called shallow medium filter. It is a high-efficiency filtering device that uses filter media to remove various suspended solids, microorganisms, and other fine particles in water, ultimately achieving the effect of reducing water turbidity and purifying water quality. Common filter materials include quartz sand, activated carbon, anthracite, and sand. It is widely used in agricultural irrigation, chemical industry, petroleum, metallurgy, industry and mining and other industries.

2. How does the sand filter work ?

The hydraulic control valve will automatically control the three-way valve of the corresponding filter unit through the water channel, so that it closes the inlet channel and opens the sewage channel. At this time, due to the low pressure in the sewage channel, the water of other filter units will enter from the water outlet of the filter unit under the pressure of water, and continue to flush the medium layer of the filter unit, thereby achieving the effect of cleaning the medium. The flushed sewage will enter the sewage pipe from the sewage outlet of the filter unit under the action of water pressure, completing a sewage discharge process. The filter can also be discharged by timing control. When the time reaches the time set by the timing controller, the electric control box sends a sewage cleaning signal to the three-way hydraulic control valve. The specific sewage discharge process is as above.

3. What is the advantage of sand filter?
